It seems like I have been baking my entire life. I remember as a little girl my grandmother would put the kitchen stool by the counter and have me put the ingredients into whatever she was making, then she taught me measure things, then she showed me and taught me how to put things in the oven or stir things on the stovetop. Cooking and baking have always been my passion. Many years ago, I managed a restaurant and then ran a catering company. Then real life got wonderfully busy as a mom and I was room-mother and on the PTA. A mom to 6 wonderful adult children now and 9 who call me Nana.
Treat Trove came to be because my grandson said that he and his siblings loved getting packages from me because there was ALWAYS a treasure trove of treats. I host the family gathering with as many as 31 at a holiday gathering.

I don’t make fancy decorated cakes any longer due to muscular issues in my dominant hand, but I do make some great cakes. I do know others that make tasty AND beautifully decorated cakes.
