It seems like I have been baking my entire life. I remember as a little girl my grandmother would put the kitchen stool by the counter and have me put the ingredients into what ever she was making, then she taught me measure things, then she was showing and teaching me how to put things in the oven, or stir things on the stovetop. Cooking and baking have always been a passion of mine. Many years ago I managed a restaurant then ran a catering company. Then real life got wonderfully busy as a mom and I was room-mother and on the PTA. A mom to 6 wonderful adult children now and 9 that call me Nana.

Treat Trove came to be because my grandson said that he and his siblings loved getting packages from me because there was ALWAYS a treasure trove of treats. I host the family gathering with as many as 31 at a holiday gathering.

With the encouragement of my daughters, husband, former co-workers and friends that I have baked for. I decided to give it a go and share my passion with all of you, retirement is under-rated.

I don't do fancy cakes any longer due to muscular issues in my dominant hand, but I do make some great cakes. If you want fancy I know others that make tasty AND beautifully decorated cakes.
